Change of CEO or Other Administrators in SEDDAS

Every school, institution, or Local Educational Agency (LEA) that reports to С槼ºÖ±²¥ has a CEO listed in SEDREF. When a change of CEO is made in SEDREF the new CEO of record is automatically given a SEDDAS account (in an overnight process) with the appropriate entitlements based on the business rules for each application and the entitlements of the former CEO. Accounts for CEOs should never be manually created or disabled from SEDDAS.

IF YOU NEED A CHANGE OF CEO IN SEDDAS, SEDREF MUST BE UPDATED

CEO SEDDAS accounts are created automatically based on the CEO of record in SEDREF, this can includeÌýSuperintendent, Directors, Principals, Head Masters, Charter School Leaders, etc.ÌýAll CEO account must be created by the С槼ºÖ±²¥ account automation due to data security requirements to grant access. Manually granting CEO access will be blocked for some applications if the new/interim CEO is not on file in SEDREF first and/or will interfere with the correct role being assigned in other applications.Ìý

  • Once SEDREF has been updated a new CEO SEDDAS account will be created and entitled, and the former CEO SEDDAS account will be disabled.
  • CEO accounts should not be manually created or disabled.
